The Field Kitchen

South Africa’s first truly mobile fine dining restaurant launches at the same time. Gastronomes can expect adventurous yet approachable dishes using hyper-locally sourced ingredients, paired with estate wines and locally distilled spirits.

Set inside a mobile glass, steel and canvas cabin, The Field Kitchen galley has been designed as a moveable, open plan work space. Diners will be privy to the cooking action while settled in a simply styled eatery, that will offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Floor to ceiling glass walls will allow the outside in allowing for epic panoramic vistas by day.

Guests can look forward to a bonsai hospitality experience  with breakfasts in bed, complete with artisan coffee and Mimosa cocktails; wholesome country picnics, high tea in the veld, sumptuous gourmet dinners followed by potstill brandies and stories around the fire. A blissful day in nature ends with in-tent Midnight snacks to enjoy whilst tucked in bed or outside beneath the stars.

Also included are all non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, apart from international wines and spirits.
