The fertile Biedouw Valley is the winter and spring location. This is Cederberg country, an explorer’s utopia where adaptable activities include guided hikes, bouldering, horse riding, food foraging excursions and picnics in the veld. Close to Clanwilliam and the Tankwa Karoo National Park, this part of the Cederberg is also famed for its prehistoric rock formations, caves and striking landscapes, and after the late winter rains, the plains are a sight to behold as the land erupts with bright carpets of wild flowers announcing the arrival of Spring.
